The Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is a universal law that is operating all the time and always in motion. It's basically the ability to attract into our lives whatever it is we are focusing on. Wherever we place our attention, whatever we think about has an intense impact on our emotions. There is an invisible, magnetic pull that never quits attracting things we want to go after. The phrase “like attracts like” means we draw to ourselves the essence of whatever we predominantly think about. This sounds simplistic but there is much truth in paying attention to your thought patterns and the way they make you feel. If you predominately think about things you desire, it is more likely your life experiences will reflect your desires. But in the same way, if you think about what you don’t want, more likely, your life experience will reflect those things as well. To draw more positive and favorable conditions, we need to imagine what it would be like to have the things we desire, trust and believe we have the right to get what we want and project a positive outlook.
Negativity is toxic and will block creativity and manifest what we want. A negative attitude will repel the very things we are going after. This means we are responsible for bringing negative and positive things into our lives. If we feel bad and spend our days in regret, we are likely to see more negative in our lives. But if we discipline our mind to focus on the positive aspects in every situation, not dwelling on the negative, we will see more possibilities, and hope surrounds us. Attuning the mind toward a defined purpose, and planning, taking action steps and asking for spiritual guidance will increase our magnetic pull for attracting positive circumstances and repelling negative ones.
We are the attractors of our realities whether we like it or not or whether we believe it or not. This knowledge gives us great power in attracting people, resources, money status and opportunities. It also gives us the power to push away the very things we are wanting to enrich our lives.
The Law of Attraction helps us shape and create a future. It is always working and giving us messages through our thoughts and feelings if they are positive and moving forward toward our desires or negative and moving us away from our desires. It is vital we believe we can direct and change our thinking and feelings to manifest a life worth living.

Buddhist Psychology
Buddhism and psychology are concerned with the alleviation of human suffering, distress and dissatisfaction.
Freedom from suffering, compassion and wisdom are Buddhist foundations. The goal is to retrain dysfunctional processes of perception, thought, emotion and behavior. According to Buddhist psychology we suffer because we are trapped within our minds and through inner disarmament - reducing anger, jealousy and shame, we are able to embrace compassion and create our own happiness. We often operate from the unconscious level and the more conscious awareness we bring to daily living, the more present we will be to embrace change.
Buddhist psychology guides us to live in ways that are respectful and kind, realistic and satisfying. Buddhist neither cling to, nor avoid what is seen as pleasant or unpleasant. An important principle of Buddhist psychology is karma. Karma means action. Simply stated, karma means a person is what they do. Karma can be thought of as the transformation of energy through thought, speech and action. However, in Buddhist tradition, actions are not functions of feelings, it's the other way around. Buddhist believe a healthy life comes from the actions we take. Buddhism teaches a range of methods for calming in the midst of chaos in order for us to act effectively, because it is our actions that create our lives and well-being.
